Long story short I went on vacation for a week and had to leave her at home. I felt bad but made sure she would be all set because I had no other choice. I fed her well before I left and her cage was left open and she had access to a portion of my bedroom that was blocked off so she wouldn't be trapped in her cage. I got home and came to see her (I did it calmly). She was sleeping on my floor and then all of a sudden took off running (with her eyes still closed!) And freaked out. Now I can't get near her. Her beard is black, she opens her mouth, puffs up, hisses, if I try to touch her she bolts again. I think she's scared because she was isolated and I thought she would adjust to us again having my family be around but we have been home for hours and nothing has changed. Ive been careful to not approach her from above but it doesn't help. Should I try to pick her up anyways with a sock over my hand? I don't want to scare and traumatize her but I don't know what to do. Please help.
She's 7 years old btw
