ok thanks ill change and move everythin around he is sich his poop is all white with a lil water he hadent gone in the past few days but since he hadent eaten i didnt think anythign of it untell now
the bad thing about this is that is how my first dragion pooped and he only lived in my care for 3 days but he also wouldent eat im worried now i will get somhtign diffrent for his calcium most pet stores here only carry it with d3
i have cut him back to 1 shake a day but he did eat more this morning he is wating for food now as i type i will see if he wont eat more then his 7 from this mornning

well if he is not eatting too much then his poo will be mostly white. And what is not turned into urites (the white stuff) will come out in a watery liquid form. Did you end up putting sand in your tank? I wouldnt reccomend this untill he is at least 6-7 months old. I use a little sand but mostly tiles. His eatting area has tiles with sand in the cracks between them. You can get other vits on line without d3. Check out reptilesupply.com. What sort of veggies are you trying to feed at this time? Have you tried Babyfood in a lil baby med syringe? You can try and feed him bb Food carrots, squash, peas etc. they will offten go to the babyfood and it will give them some benifical veggies.

if you dont remove the tile you can use groute insted or use a pice of styrofome goverd in tile groute this will give them the rough surfice that is needed for scratching i havet tried either yet i have some store bought grass in it right now
i havent tried baby food and we have colerdgrees and spenisch if thats how its spelt he wont eat either

he did eat dinner and alot of it all 15 crickets that i fed him arent in his tank hes a lil mad i took out his hamock untell i can raise the light on top of his tank it was leting him get 2-3 inches from the light and heat lamp so that has been fixed for now

i need to make time to buld a platform for him and then adjust the light to the basking area just havent done it yet not tell i change him to a new tank then im goign to try the tile grout coverd fome but as fare as not eating i was worried and didnt notice he was sheding yet again tell he strated trying to take it off i hope he is ok

The Grout covered foam is good for back drops, and resting platfoarms but I wouldnt reccomend it for the bottom. I am making a structure for him right now with grout covered foam. It is very rough and it needs to be sealed with watered down outdoor elmers wood glue. Otherwise it is pourus and will hold all the bacteria. In all honesty for the floor this will be a nightmare for you to clean. I suggest you go to a tile store and ask if they have any broken pieces of tile or samples you may purchase. They will prolly have some rougher stone pieces like slate or sand stone. Also, if the bottom is too rough they can injur there tummy and the vent area and cause a prolaps. This is when the hemmi penis get stuck outside the body. When they poo the vent opens up to expose the anus and they ofen drag themselves on the ground as pooing. If the surface is rough liek the grout coved foam will be, he can really injure himself.

Also, please check out the list of foods to feed that I recomended to you at Beautifuldragons.com. Spinich should not be fed to your dragon. one in a whiel is ok, but it sucks the calcium right out of them, and since you have only been giving you guy calc 2x per week, this is not a good thing.

ok i see why not to use it
abot the cal i never said 2 times a week i said every feeding 2 times a day

since he is such a lil guy im dusting every feeding with rep-cal calcium with vit d3

but since everyone says 1 time a day and not every feeding i have cut it back to 1 time a day

i have the book the dragion manule but it dont cover some of th questions i still have

he hasent gone to the bathroom in 2 days and i have been soaking him 2 times a day right afte he eats

and i did look @ the site @ this point im trying everythign that is green in the list as well as some of the yellow trying to get him to try some of it he has never taken a bite of anyof it and wont take food from your finger tips granted my finger tips are 2 times the of his head and he is ver scared of my hands in his cage i try to leave them in there with out going near him so he can get used to me but its not helping

so am i worring over nothing about him not eating as much

ok I see, sorry I misunderstood about the calcium. SO he has pooped it is just not much and mostly white then?

no its geting better like 45% white 55% poo but not as much befor it was like 85% poo and 15% water
so mabe i have his hydration right now and is feeding him too much cal bad?
i uderstand about the d3
but no where dose it say how much is too much
