Beard!

Riddick just got out of a shed and his beard is scattered with bright orange! Any reason why? Should I be concerned? His husbandry is still: basking in the 90-95 range, cool side is 80ish and he's under a 10.0 repti bulb for UVB. He's just as active as ever, sleeps normal etc.

His beard is becoming more colorful, that's a good thing. After the rest of his beard sheds, you will see some more oranges popping out. :)

No need at all to be concerned. He's developing colors, that's all. I had a dragon that had a beautiful beard that was flecked with oranges like that.

Also, colouringup is one way a beardie shows/communicates he/she is happy, typically the beard, the throat, side of face will colourup when a beardie is happy.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
