Beard seams lumpy

My bearded dragon is 11 months old and his beard has been getting a little larger since he is growing. I have noticed today that when he swallows it seems lumpy. I am new at this so not sure if it is normal or not. If anyone could let me know. Thank you.
Also, he seems very healthy and is alert and moving around.

I don't know how to answer that one. What do you mean by lumpy? Is this a new thing or has been going on for some time? Could he be holding some food in there?
