hey all
my poor poor boyjust been diagnosed with a slight lung infection but its not that bad but hes been put on 0.2ml of baytril twice a day which ive gotta administer! ahhh! last time i administered meds to him i got some in his lung but the vet has shown me how to get into the side of his mouth safely. however what im concerned about is ive got to mix the baytril with fruit juice! i forgot to ask the vet which fruit juice but the other nurse told me to use sugar free orange juice, is this safe???? as i know they cannot have oranges or anything citric so is this ok? i need to administer his first dose this evening so am hoping i will get a speedy reply! lol, if the orange juice isnt ok let me know if there are other fruit juices i could use and what they should and shouldnt have in them? oh also should i now start probiotics, if so how often and can i put them on his greens along with either his calypso or nutrabol, whichever hes due that day???
thanx all
