so weve had our beardie for maybe 3-4 weeks now. we love her and try our best to be good mommy's. im just wondering how often we should bathe her? and any tips would also be helpful. i have been hesitant to bathe her, i have a general idea on how to do it i just would like to be confidant and make sure shes happy. i feel like this is kind of a silly question, i guess i just want to make sure that shes comfortable. any tips would be appreciated, thanks c:

I'm no expert and new to bearded dragon care, but iv bathed mine a few times over the past few weeks and picked up a few tips from this forum and other places.

From what iv gathered make sure the waters warm but not hot, try to support the dragon well whilst lowering it into the water by having it sit firmly in the palm of your hand so it can run up your arm if it really doesn't like it.

Make sure the water is not to high that it can get into the dragons ears, so around shoulder length at the maximum.
Don't let the water get to cold before taking it out, and dry it carefully with a cloth before putting it back in the vivarium.

Hope that helps a little, mine does not enjoy it much and the first few times I did it inside the vivarium using it's water bowl to try and lower any stress it might have caused.

Oh he/she won't like it..... at first. But give it a few seconds of complaining and at least mine calms down and enjoys it. I usually put mine in a separate bucket for a little bit and after he poops I take him out of that bucket and move him into the sink in my basement with clean warm water in it.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
