It seems to be generally recommended to bathe your dragon 2 to 3 times per week. I would like to know what would be wrong with short, daily baths? Rufus is noticeably more active and eats more on days when he has had a morning bath which I did when I suspected he might be slightly dehydrated. It seems to wake him up and get his blood running around in the right direction (he tends to be a real lounge lizard) plus it has the added advantage of getting his daily poop out of the way. Bathing him every other day is fine though but am just curious.

Should be okay, just do not over do the time. So you would want to cut down, possibly closer to 5-6 minutes each bath. This will still have the ~same outcome on overall time.
I am not sure of the adverse possibilities :study:

We give Tiki a bath every day. She's come to expect it. It's the only place she'll poop! Just about 10 minutes per bath - nice and warm, around 94*-95* :)

Thanks for the input Beardednoob and Emily! I suspect frequent bathing makes them more susceptible to respiratory infections and fungus but just guessing. Yes, I believe short baths are cumulatively as beneficial as several longer ones so as soon as the poo is done we call it quits. Besides, it's nearly impossible to hold a squirmy, uncooperative little critter in one hand while disinfecting the sink! I am careful to insure that he is warm prior to bathing and is as dry as possible when returning him to a nice warm viv so hope to avoid any negative consequences.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
