Bath Time

I had an idea the other day about making bath time more enjoyable/less stressful for those beardies that don't enjoy a nice soak.
I was watching Vinny in the tub, I usually fill it up to about her armpits for the first 10 minutes then I add more water so she can swim around, she loves to swim and will even stand under the running tap...but she's a weirdo haha.
Anyways, to the point...while the water level was low she was trying to walk around in the tub and just slipping and sliding every where. Perhaps this is a reason some beardies don't like time in the tub? no traction....Tomorrow I'm going to go out and buy a non slip bath mat to put on the bottom of the tub so she can cruise around at ease.

Has anyone tried this? How did it work? I think it will be a hit with Vinny...

Yes, a bath mat is a good idea and we always recommend putting something down in the bottom of tub, sink or container so that it gives them something to hang on to and prevent slipping. I found a spongy bath mat with suction cups on the bottom that I put in the bottom of the sink and it works very well.

wow what a great idea i never thought of that lol... you little guiness lol. although I don't give him a bath in the bathtub i give him a bath in this rather large sink. I just put a small towel under him so he has something to cling to. anway, yeah i think that would work GREAT.
