Up until now I have been using distilled water in a 10 gal tank to give Kiku her baths. I noticed that people on here say they use their tubs to give baths. Im on city water , is that ok to use ?? Doesnt it have chemicals in it, like clorine?

It would indeed be much less of a hassel to just put her in the tub, Im just concerned about the chemicals in the city water. Any advice on this would be very helpful.

Another concern of the beardie pooping in the tub and salmonila. I would of course spray the tub afterwards with bleach water. Would that get rid of the germ completely? My tub is not used for baths, only showers , but still want it super clean. YES, Im a clean freak !

Thanks in advance!

I would recommend not using your tub, I use a rubbermaid container and it works just fine plus you don't have to worry about the salmonella getting in your tub.

I'm on town water and have been using it far as I know there are no problems with it.

You can go by the general rule of if it is safe for you then it is safe for your lizard. Yes if you are worried about germs in your tub use a rubbermaid tub. I usually put my beardie in my bathroom sink, and I wash it out before he takes a bath and after.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
