I've noticed that Rocky does not bask much and am wondering if your beardie does?
He's usually in the colder spots of his cage and almost never in the middle where he has his own basking rock and can bask... How often does your beardie bask?
Rocky will bask maybe in the morning but then that's it. Am I doing anything wrong or do they just not bask a whole lot?

What are your temps?

Your basking area is in the middle of your tank?

Well I guess not really in the middle. It's to the left more than the middle. So I guess middle left.
The basking area is about 100-105 degrees F and the cool side is about 85 degrees F

How about your uvb? Does it run the length of the enclosure and what type is it?

What is the distance that you have that MVB to the basking spot? Also, what type of thermometer are you using?

Our beardies bask in the morning then either stay near the warm side or go over the cooler side they only really spend say a couple of hours directly under the lamp.

The bulb is about 2-2.5 feet from the basking spot... Is that ok?

I use this thermometer http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/reptile-supplies/thermometers-thermostats-and-timers/
I also use a stick on one that is electronic and it's usually at about 95, so I average the 2 out.

Rocky usually spends about 1-2 hours total a day in his basking spot. He will go in the morning to warm up, leave, come back for maybe 5 minutes and then leave... I don't exactly what he does as I don't watch him the whole day but I know that the last 2-3 hours before lights go out he won't go to his basking spot at all because he's getting ready for sleep or just tired?? I have the lights on for 13 hours and off for 11. I use a timer.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
