Basking vs incadescent vs halogen

I swore I would not buy another basking bulb as the life time on them is horrible. So I scoured this board and bought halogen 75w. No good. Temps just did not rise. So I tried the clear incadescent 100 w still no dice. Today I caved and bought another zoomed basking and ta da we have proper temps. I probably spent more on other bulbs just to avoid paying for the basking bulb. - so frustrating.

I like the Zoozmed basking bulbs and beardeddragon.co always has a great price on them. Less than a cheap halogen from the hardware store and they aren't gigantic!
