I'm just wondering what temperature the basking spot should be for a juvenile bearded dragon? Should his temperatures be the same as babies or adults or something else?
Juvenile bearded dragons require similar temperatures as a baby. The basking area can be slightly cooler, ranging from 95 to 105 degrees F. The cooler area needs to be about 80 to 90 degrees F with juveniles as well.
TEMPERATURE AREAS IDEAL TEMPERATURE RANGE
Basking Area 95°F - 100°F
Cool-down Area 80°F - 90°F
I aim for a basking spot temperature in the range 40-43degC. NO HOTTER.
I use this as my aim basking spot temperature for hatchlings , juveniles and adult beardies. I don't use higher temperatures for than 43degC for my hatchlings.
