Basking surface temperature

Just curious where everyone keeps their hottest basking surface temp at? I was told by a vet that I should see his mouth gape open sometimes or it’s probably not hot enough . I had to get surface temp to 115F which he recommended but not all vets do. Curious about what people here think .

115 is too hot for a adult dragon / juvie-- I have a gradient heat in my tank of 95- 110 or so- my dragon sits in different spots for different temps--

Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
