Is the indoor floodlight BR-30 65 watts ok to try in a 40 gallon enclosure? The bulb has writing on the center and i am thinking i saw where not to use that kind. The bulb is not clear..Its milky with a silver base..Its made by GE..It doesn't say halogen on the box..Thanks for any advise..

BR30 is OK. BR40 would be better (wider beam). The bulge reflectors stick out a lot though so they may pop out from the bottom of a dome fixture. It works better when they are suspended from above rather than sitting on a tank top. A clear bulb is probably better but if it's producing a bright white light and proper temps then it should be OK. You may just need to test it and see how it goes.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
