Basking light temp for adult

I read on here about babies but how hot should it be for basking for an adult beardie that's 1 1/2 years old? Draco's temp is at 103F and climbing. Is that too hot?? I will edit this after the temp is steady. I bought 100 watt basking bulb because Draco is now in his 40 gallon breeder tank. If that's too hot I have a lamp w dimmer on it that I can use. Please let me know asap. Thanks everyone. :mrgreen:

Edit: It seems to be staying at 103F. Draco's been use to around 95F. Should I use the lamp with dimmer???
Edit again: I think I'm going to stick to my 100 watt bulb cause I just checked the temp again and it was 104F. With the household lightbulb I was getting 95F. I'll take the basking bulb back. :mrgreen: I'll keep using the lamp with dimmer for my gecko.

Baby beardies are to be kept on the "hot" side of hot meaning as close to 110F as possible. For an adult, like yours anywhere between the 100-105F mark is fine. Even a little hotter then that won't hurt him. Just make sure to keep the cooler side no hotter then 85F

It's running on the hot side but as long as you provide regular baths (1-2, 2 is best, times a week) and a place for the beardie to hide it will be ok
