Currently i have a Phillips BR30 which has a nice temp of 104-107 for my 6 week old beardie but after feeling around i could feel a spot hotter then the rest about the size of a quarter on the rock so i placed the probe there and it is reading 123 after about 25 min 
that will not due for him as i don't want to chance burning him so im looking for suggestions on what to replace it with (type of bulb and brand if possible) i have about 16-17 inches of space to work with but will get a dimmer if i have to just want a good light with no hot spots if possible as i don't want to chance burning the little guy
