Bambam is eating his enclosure.

I know sounds funny..........but NOT.

At first I thought OMG I have forgotten to feed him or maybe he is having a growth spurt and was hungry.

He did it a few weeks ago and hasn't done it since.......that was until I caught him at it this morning.

The viv's main structures are made from polystyrene covered with tile grout and then sealed.........silly me thinking it was impenatrable(sorry for spelling)......I thought maybe he was lacking something in his diet. I dust his woodies in cal dust. Do you think he may need some sort of mineral or something.

The last time he ate his viv he had no lasting effect for it.......not that i want he to chow down on his home LOL

i don't think its a hungry issue. How many layers of the grout did you use? I'd probably take some time to add a few more.
If it is a hungry issue then always make sure you keep offering until he stops. Usually it can be about 10 minutes. Sorry to hear bout your curious little shredder. Good luck!

How much does he eat daily and what does he eat?

One of my beardies always tries to bite the kitchen tile, but I know she is fed ALOT. So yours may just think it's a food source as well but it might also be that he's simply hungry.The calcium supplement should not be the problem but if he is eating away at your fake rock structure and you cant seem to figure out the problem your best bet might be to take it out because he could become impacted if he get's a good chunk and the sealer everybody uses is toxic if alot is consummed.It's also a bit ruff on thier teeth, goodluck!
