Bah! We are having shed issues..again.

This time it is with our other beardy... Stewie. He normally doesnt have any trouble with his shed unlike our other baby..Louie.
Stewies shed came off without a problem like normal. I just upped his bath time a bit and he was good to go.... Except for a small patch on his beard. I left it to see if it would come off with his next shed on its own. Which teh shed was all perfect, again, except for this patch.
What worries me the most is one portion of it is a yucky color and everytime I try to have a look... he acts like it hurts and wont let me get a good look at it.
The only reason I got these pics was because he was fascinated with trying to lick the camera lens :D

ok, so here ya go... any help or thoughts, as always, is appreciated.

Thx, i might order some of that... I had to use aloe vera gel on my other beardy so I might try that first.
I just didnt know if it would help considering its kind of in a difficult spot.

i am not sure of this but there could be a possibility that it could be yellow fungus? when is the last time stewie went to the vet?

It hasnt been too long, but forgive the quality of the pic... its is def shedded skin. It seems to be retained shed ad damaged scales.. is this a common side effect of this fungus?

I know you aren't really supposed to do this, but can you try to pick it off with your fingernail? Worst thing that could happen is it'll come off. You could also try a toothbrush.

looks like scabs
do you house them together?
might be a healing bite.

They arent housed together but they hang outside of their cages alot. Last week I got them out and left the room to go get their super worms and when I came back they were fighting. Louie had ahold of stewies beard. Sheesh! I guess I just needed my brain jogged. I didnt know thats what "lizard scabs" looked like either.

So you think everything will be ok? Perhaps some neosporin or triple antibiotic to help him heal?

Oh, and thx to all who posted as well :)

It does look like a scab underneath the white area, you might want to use some diluted Betadine and apply that as well as Neosporin. I don't think I'd put any Aloe Vera gel on it.
Since they were fighting, you also might want to reconsider having that out at the same time, wouldn't want any worse injury to occur.

Yea, I think you are right. Which for the most part i have stopped taking them out at the same time. This is a new thing but im sure it will only get worse. They are just about 6mo old which im sure means hormone city

Now the other day I had both cages open.. front loaders. I had Stewie on my lap, chillin, watchin tv. From all the way acrossed the room, Louie starts to head bob, swan dives out of the cage onto the floor. He literally hit the floor running and began to make wide circle laps as fast as he could.
Then he stopped and gave us the stink eye for a bit. My husband seems to think they are jealous of each other. Who knows!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
