My beardie just started shedding her tail today. Before her shed she had all of her scales intact. After she had shed half her tail i noticed something strange. Two scales on her new half of her tail had seemed to have never formed. As you can see by the pic below it looks like scar tissue formed right where two scales should have gone. Has anyone experienced this? Will the scales grow back next time she sheds her tail? I googled this and didn't find anything.

Looks like it might have got nipped or injured, maybe as she was a baby and you just didn't notice it. It shouldn't do any harm or cause any problems though. (maybe your feeding her so well she is growing so fast her scales can't keep up with her :p)

Good one, but what is weird is that i have pics of her tail before the shed that show no scar tissue. (It was like it happened under the old scales)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
