Bad odor to superworms

Hi all,
I started using superworms as a feeder a few days ago. I ordered from beardeddragon.co. A couple days after I started feeding my dragon the worms they developed a really bad odor. Is this normal or did I get a bad batch? Do they typically have no odor?

they somewhat stink usually but you need to keep them in oats, wheat germ or ground alfalfa. I find the alfalfa especially gets rid of the smell. Supers seem to "sweat" the odor if they are not kept in clean bran and soon die after.

Note-the bran cheryl (beardeddragon.co) ships them in is often eaten by them within a day or two of arrival. It will still be in there but it will look like sand with a fine grain texture. You will need to put them in a new container with fresh wheat bran, oats or alfalfa.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
