Bad Bearded dragon

Ok my Vader set up is prefect I have had about a month or so now. He started out gaping, and hand waving, well now ever time I hold him he bits me hard last night he drew blood. I but a black back ground last night but he can still see him self in the reflection on the glass could that make him bit me like this? If so should I but the blackground inside of his cage to stop his reflection.

I really don't think it really has too much to do with the reflection. He or she is scared of your hand. Have you been handling him often. And what is your tank temps? That also has a lot to do with their moods. Also what UVB are you using?

Temps are 105 I have a reptisun 10 it is inside the cage. I try to handly him everyday, but he get stress marks, hiss, gaps and bits. even wraped up

Im dealing with the very same thing as you right now from one of my rescues. There are many things you can do such as putting a shirt that you have just worn in the tank with them its so that they can get used to your scent. Or Try hand feeding greens everytime you stick your had in the viv. It just takes a lot of patients and a lot of work. How old is Vader?

not really sure. He was only 6 inc when I got him from the pet store about a month ago

I have a sock in there now, but I washed befor butting in there should i put on in there that have worn and not washed? I dont have many shirts to spare.

I just remember I had but that background on his cage when doing so I was moving his cage around I dont think he like that to much. I pick him up to day he was a little nicer. some stess marks on the belly, but not the bearded like all the other times. I hoping it is going to take some time.

Get a small towel, work out for an hour for one week and just use that small towel to wipe the sweat off. Put it in the vivarium and there you go.
