Backup UVB bulb question

Hey,

Quick question. I was thinking about ordering a few extra UVB bulbs. I use the Reptisun 10.0 T8 bulb. I know I'm supposed to swap them out at six months. Do they have an expiration date? I guess what I'm trying to say is, how long can I store a bulb before I shouldn't use it in his enclosure? Is there a certain way i should store them for the long term? Thanks.

There is no expiry date so long the have not ever been energized.

I buy my UV globes in batches of 3 as a matter of course.

Is a always handy to some spares , and you generally get a better price and save on shipping.
