Hey Guys,

Anyone know where I can order a background for my beardies tank? We recently moved into a new apartment and the way light reflects of his tank, I think he can see his reflection. I've caught him glass surfing and puffing up looking at the glass so that's what I'm guessing. But I can't find a big enough background at any of my local pet stores.

How many gallons is your tank? Or err the measurements?

If you cantfind one then You can try making your own with styrofoam

I've seen someone on youtube once take a banner from walmart and printing like a landscape background on it, and pasting it to the back with matte modge podge. If you use this though let it air out for an hour or a few.
I have simple black construction paper taped on my walls with double sided tape, it gets the job done.
I wouldnt use normal tape just in case he gets himself stuck to it.

Or else, the styrofoam and grout works as well. There are plenty of tutorials online, but it takes a few days so for a quick fix i would go with the paper.
