so mojo, who is about 8 weeks now, just had his first shed [that i am aware of] and it went well, i was so happy so see that the orange that the calci sand dyed his toes all came off, and without any trouble. i hear so many horror stories about young ones that have a hard time shedding and i was scared that it took him a whole 6 weeks or so before i saw him shed.

only one question tho. he didnt shed the very end of his tail [which is still orange] is that bad?

*ps daily baths are getting better and i think made a huge difference in how easy it was for him.

I am glad to hear that he shed, and everything went well. I do not know if it is a bad thing that he did not shed the tip of his tail. My beardie did not shed the very tip of his tail once, and I just left it. He did not seem to have any problems, and eventually (with a little help from me picking off little pieces at a time) it came off.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
