Baby Star Lettuce?

I was looking into growing this type of deep green nutritious lettuce.. It is not on the beautifuldragons chart & I can't (it's been a long day so maybe I'm blind.. haha) find a way to contact them regarding their opinion on this food. It's very nutritious for people, & knowing it's a dark leafy green I was curious about feeding some to my beardie.

The link you posted describes it as a romaine lettuce.... The beautiful dragons chart lists romaine lettuce as a "feed rarely" food.

I'm pretty sure that they are speaking of Romaine lettuce that you would buy in your grocery store - which has next to zero nutritional content for lizards and not all that much for humans either.. There are many dozens of varieties of Romaine that are "dark-leaved" & carry more vitamins and minerals than your traditional pale Romaine hearts you see in a bag. This one seems closer to the butterhead varieties IMO (but then, I'm a gardener )

Here is in excerpt from another website I found on Baby Star:

I have yet to find a source giving actual nutritional specifics. But I'll keep looking.

Hi Tami,
I would not use it as a staple green, but if the nutritonal info is correct I would mix it with collard or turnip greens.
