baby not walking?

I just got a 6 week old baby beardie last night and it doesn't seem to be exploring the cage. It hasn't been walking that much. The warm side of the cage is 105 degrees farenheit cool side is about 75-80 degrees. Why wont he walk. I know he can because he walked a little bit last night. but today he's not walking that much. do you think he's just lazy or do you think there is something wrong?

Is he basking under his lamp? Usually they don't move much and will relax while enjoying the heat/UVB. If you want to see if your baby will get active, I'd suggest you take him out and let him explore-- with supervision of course! Unless your baby is new, if that's the case you may want to hold off on the handling. If he's new he may also not be moving much due to relocation stress, so give it time. Unless he starts looking sickly or lethargic, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

ok thanks. he is new so that might be it. he doesn't look sick or lethargic so it might just be from the move.

It doesn't seem right that he's not wanting to walk around at all.

Could you fill us in on the setup info, size of tank, wattage of basking bulb(s), brand & type of UVB, type of thermometer you're using, etc? The more detailed info you can give us, the better.

its a little better now.... I think he was stressed out from the move
