Hi all,
I didn't think I'd be on here having another emergency with a different dragon, but here I am. My hokey with yellow fungus is doing great! I decided to get another dragon and decided to get one from a breeder this time! Unfortunately, I'm not sure I picked the right reeder. The baby I got is tiny. She's supposed to be 10 weeks old. The emergency is, she's not eating or pooping. I've had her since Sunday and she ate two crickets and two worms Monday morning and that's it. She pooped Sunday and hasn't gone since. What can I do? I don't take her out much so she can settle in. I took her out today to give her a bath to see if that would make her poo. I'm worried about her not eating so long since she's so small. Also, no worries about her getting yellow fungus. The two dragons are kept on separate floors and I handle hokey last.

She's active. Her basking temp is between 103-107. Cool side is 75. She has a reptisun t8 10.0 uvb bulb. There is no screen between her and the light.

Aw ... what cute little bugger hey !

Is more like 4 weeks old , but then it may have been one the ones the breeder had that was being dominated continuously and so not getting it's fair share of the live bugs , or access to the prime basking spot.

You've only had the little hatchling less than a week, i'd be thinking still stressed by the relocation , the new different routines and schedules and different people and sounds and sights all around it now.
Not much food = not much poo out.

How are from then bottom the tank is the t8 bulb ?
is it in a reflector hood ?

What substrate is it on , and was it on at the breeder's ?

might be worth asking the breeder about the feeding schedule it was on and what exact insects it was getting (size , how many per feed) .

I'm sure this time next week this little hatchling will be a verocious cricket hunter and will be hoovering down 1/4 size crickets and small (1.5in) silkworms and BSF maggots with gusto.

..... can you move it a few inches lower to boost the UVA and UVB it's getting .... might be all it needs to kick start it's apetite.

She is on paper towels. I'm not sure what the breeder kept them on. She's in a 10 gallon tank and the uvb light is sitting on top of the tank. The light fixture is an old aquarium light fixture. I'm not sure if it has a reflector. Since she's so small, I wanted to keep her in a smaller tank until she's eating well. I have some roaches coming tomorrow and that's what the breeder was feeding her so hopefully that will work.

I got Richter super tiny, too, only 6.5" long. It took him about a week and a half to finally start eating, and he's grown huge fast. My new baby is eating immediately, only had her about a week now, so some dragons take the new move better than others.

I'd try not to let it stress you too much just yet, just monitor to make sure he's still active and basking

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
