well i was told that it would be fine for a full grown beardie and i was sceptical. he gave me it for free and said if hes to big dont do it. when i got the baby mouse home and took it out of the box i didnt even try to feed it to ceasar, i instantly felt bad for the thing born to die i couldnt do it. so now im stuck with a 2-3week old mouse with no idea how to care for it. when i look it up on google all i see is help raising newborns with thier eyes closed but this ones eyes are fully open and running around. anyone got any suggestions??? i just couldnt do it. plus hes too big anyways. i cant return it because hes not exactly supposed to just give me baby mice.

Hoppers are definitely too big for beardies, if anything you should only feed pinkie mice - the bones in hoppers are just too much. If you want to keep the hopper then all you need is a basic gerbil set up (water dripper + food). If its eyes are open and it's running around then it will be fine with just that.

Yea I got some mouse and hamster complete diet pellets and a dripped. Will it figure everything out on its own?

If you are keeping it as a long term pet now, the only other things I would make sure you had are little woods sticks for him/her to chew on. They are very inexpensive at the pet store. The running wheel I assume came with your set up.

We had two female mice and they were great. While we were taming them I let them run around in the empty bathtub and put our hands in for them to climb on and stuff. We also got a little running ball for the house so they could "roam". I think it was about $4 or so.

They can be great pets if you work with them and handle them gently and often. They don't warm up as fast as our beardies though :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
