Baby food suggestions for nursing back to health

My guy has had some health issues, he was stressed from a move, and from what the vet can tell, tried to go into brumation, and got really weak. He has MBD, so he's in a pretty stinky situation as it is.
He was on critical care, but the vet said i can stop feeding him that whenever i want, now that he has most of his strength back. I wanted to make a transition from the CC to vegetables, but he shows absolutely no interest in them.

The vet OK'd the all natural baby foods, and i currently am feeding carrots, and have peas, sweet potatoes, and butternut squash baby food. These are great and all, and he love them, but i was wondering if there is a baby food with more of the nutrition he would get from his staple greens. Or does anyone have a homemade method of making syringe feedable food?

I've had good luck with squash, green bean, and sweet potato baby food. After a while I started making my own out of the ingredients I'd put in a salad. Usually collard greens mixed up with some squash and green beans or bell pepper etc depending on what was available at the store. I'd blend it up into a smoothie and then strain it through cheesecloth or similar so that it came out to be the same consistency as baby food which made it easy to go in and out of the syringe. The remainder went into my own smoothies =). I could make a few days worth at a time this way and had full control over the nutritional balance.

Thanks for the info I tried making a blend once before but i didn't think about running through cheesecloth to get out all the chunks.
