Baby Dragon diet

I am bringing home my baby 8 week old Beardy this weekend. The breeder said he is currently eating between 10-30 crickets a day

Will this amount increase as he gets older until it is time to switch to a majority greens diet ? I’ve only ever raised an adult dragon so I want to be sure he gets enough bugs. Does the rule of let them eat as much as they want in 15 minutes still apply ? But multiple times a day for a baby?

Also I should still offer a full salad every day for him to graze on right ?

Any tips on baby diets (and a timeline of when to switch it up) greatly appreciated !

Your gonna want to lure him to that salad bowl - I would get some BSFL and some butter worms and some dubia roaches -- they work good for luring to the salad bowl - I can help you w/ getting him to eat those salads - if you need websites for worms and dubias let me know -- your gonna need a glass or ceramic bowl one that insects and worms cant get out of

I wouldn't say a full salad for a baby. As long as you start offering a bit every day and can get them to start taking a bite here and there it should get you in the right track.

I have an order of BSFL & crickets coming , as well as some mealworms for my hedgehog. How old will he have to be before he can have other worms such as mealies and super worms ?

Meal worms are pretty harsh on babies tummys- I would say a year for those- he can have small superworms butter worms horn worms and silk worms- you can order small super worms from here along w/ horn worms order small amounts of those they grow fast--- www.reptilesplus.com butterworms and horn worms from here www.dubiaroaches.com
Silk worms www.reptilianarts.com if you order in bulk they come small and order food you will need to feed them and clean their containers out daily
