Id like to introduce our new little baby. A chinese water dragon named Duely( like a truck haa).
Hes definitely different from our beardies, wayy more hyper. but surprizenly loves to be held, he jumps on your hand the second you put it in the cage haa.

Been kinda busy with the weather changing. But our girls are all doing well.

I love Chinese Water Dragons. Very healthy-looking one you've got there.

I'm sure you already know this, but be prepared to have a very tall enclosure once it gets bigger. They are total opposite of beardies in cage size, humidity etc. As I said, you probably already know this though. :wink:

I do too, weve been thinking of getting one for awhile, & finally found one i liked.
& oh yes, about the enclosure, already drawing up the plans to have it built as we speak, ( even tho hes still to small for it right now)
& yes everything about them is different from beardies, but thats why i like them.
Hes an awesome little guy though, very tame already, even though we havnt had him very long at all.

oh my god, your beardies are beautiful! I am in love with Bug though. I read you got her from rio reptiles, is that a store? is there a website available to purchase online?

I will be adopting a beardie from my boyfriend's mom - she's giving her away because she doesnt have time to tame it. She's over 6 months but shes rather tiny for her size. I havent seen her yet but my boyfriend said she looks like shes about 6 inches? That sounds super small so hopefully I'll help her grow a little more if possible. Ill post pictures once I get her (most likely tomorrow!)

But I am interested in getting another beardie in the future, and I would love to get one from the same place you got Bug!

I will be adopting a beardie from my boyfriend's mom - she's giving her away because she doesnt have time to tame it. She's over 6 months but shes rather tiny for her size. I havent seen her yet but my boyfriend said she looks like shes about 6 inches? That sounds super small so hopefully I'll help her grow a little more if possible. Shes great, and although Bug was the only one i got from her, she was super healthy.
thats exciting your adopting a beardie! if shes really only 6 inches, she prob wont be tame for awhile. mine were always super hyper till they hit around 9 or 10 inches. then they settle down. so dont get discouraged. just takes awhile.

As for the one I will be adopting, she said She really needs to be tamed, but her two daughters grab the beardie without a problem though (I was told.) I guess I wont know until I have her myself. But you said that she wont be tame for a while because of her size? What about her age? Also, I was told no matter the age, with a lot of handling it should get used to me.

I do have the time and patience, so it'll be okay, I'm just worried about her size for her age.

Once i get her I will also post an Intro
