Baby brumation?

My beardie is about 3-4 months old, and he is showing symptoms of brumation. He’s lethargic, sleeping most of the day, and not eating. I put him in the bath and he didn’t even open his eyes. Can babies go through brumation? Or is there something wrong? I’m getting him tested for parasites, he just has to poop when the vets is open.

No, babies under a year don’t go through brumation. He probably has a parasite. He needs a vet. Can you go over your set up?

Hi. Before you take him to a vet please list the lights used? How you take the temps? How big is the enclosure? Or you can post a picture.

He has already been to the vet, I just need a fecal sample. He has two 75 watt uva lights in a dual bulb, and a reptisun t5 10.0 uvb bulb. He has two hides, and a stick to climb up to the lights. He is in a 20 gallon right now, when he gets bigger I will move him into a 40 gallon breeder. He’s not doing great. I really hope he poops tomorrow so I can get it to the vet

Temperatures in each zone and at the basking spot ?
How exactly are measuring these ?
Too cold can lead to very low metabolic rate and lethargy.
Too hot can result in lost of ability to move and death.


What did the vet say he thinks the problem is ?

(requesting a fecal sample is likely just ticking boxes unless he thinks the issue is a very heavy GIT parasitic infection of some kind).

Basking spot is 105, warm side is about 95, cool side is 80. I use probe thermometers. The vet said everything looks good, so I’m pretty sure it’s a parasite. Only problem is he hasn’t pooped today. I’m bringing him again tomorrow if he doesn’t poop. I’m pretty worried, he’s sleeping most of the time and not eating crickets. All he’s eaten today is baby food.
