baby beardy... tail rot?

my baby beardy is 16 weeks old... she has had a very small kink at the tip of her tail since i bought her.. its never caused her any distress and she can move her whole tail... however, she has just shed and the tail is getting very black.. im not sure whether its tail rot as there is no sign or distress? x

I'm pretty new here, but maybe there is just still skin on the tail that hasn't fallen off yet? On Lennon, where her skin is ready to rub off, it looks darker. Do you bathe your beardie regularly? Mine seems to peel easier when the skin has been soaked a bit.

yeh he loves having a bathe.. he likes to play in it.. i usually do it every other day, im guna keep a close eye on her nd see if there is any change ... fingers crossed. .... nd thank you x

I hope it is just extra skin.
If she can't seem to get it off, you'll probably have to assist with loads of warm water and a soft wash cloth. I've had to do it for my corn snake, and my uncle's corn snake too, on the tips of their tail. If the shed doesn't come off, it can cut off circulation.
So yeah, just keep an eye on it. If it's still there in a couple days, maybe just try and help her out.

thank you... i tried bathing her in slightly warmer than usual and it came off straight away...she seemed to be happy too.. she loves water.. but yeh she still has a natural darker tail for some reason.. but for next time i know not to panic .. thank you x
