Yesterday I got my two beardies home and they only ate 1 worm, I tried feeding them crickets and apple too but they just wont eat, ive gave them a bath because they haven't pooed either, they were raised together and are both females, I'm really worried and I want them to be healthy.

Most likely relocation stress.

How old are they ?
what are their weights ?

VERY IMPOTANT : please separate them immediately , now is the perfect time - while they are adjusting to their new home and viv and new routine and new foods.

This is the cheapest way of separately house two or more hatchlings : viewtopic.php?f=34&t=233480 .
If adults , two stacked 4ft L X 2ft square vivs is your best option .

Need a thorough DETAILED run down of their current viv see viewtopic.php?f=6&t=234738&p=1806050#p1806050 , if you work through this methodically , issues will pop out.

I understand your concern of separating them, but they are fine, the person I brought these off had kept two female beardies together for 10 years and they were happy and content, I do understand the risks of housing two together and if there is ever any sign of domination, violence, etc I will separate them but I have looked up on it and there is a very slim chance they will become nasty, it is the same with dogs and all other animals, its a risk. Also these babys have been together since birth and have always lived together, this may not play a factor in the way they would act but I am sure it certainly helps,

Good day to you :D

This is not correct , you may think everything is blissful in their viv for a little while BUT what ALWAYS HAPPENS is that one of them will fail to thrive while the other will be getting the lion's share of their bugs and food , and monopolizing the prime sleeping and basking spot , then the chasing and biting starts , and if the keeper still doesn't take the hint one winds up savaged by the dominant dragon and this is when arms / legs / tails are mauled and ripped off and dragons are regularly killed by their tank mates . this is not fiction , there are many examples of this here on this board and others. Who ever told you they are fine sharing the same viv gave you extremely bad advise.

It does not ALWAYS happen, how could this person be giving me bad advise when he is a qualified breeder and takes very good care of his beardies, I have seen the shelter he keeps them in,i have seen how happy they are, he also has more than just the females in other tanks, I think you are focusing on the negatives, there are stories of other people keeping two females together and they get on brilliantly, like I said, its a risk.

I genuinely hope that your beardies do get along, and never turn on each other in the future. But if one day you find your dragons injured from being housed together ... well, you were warned. It's better to be safe than sorry :)

Please take good care of your lizards.

Hi there, the lack of appetite is very common when they are moved to a new home so don't be too concerned right now. :) Can you post pics of the beardies + their set up ? Can you list the exact type + brand lights you have and what kind of worms are you feeding them ? Apples aren't really the best choice , offer small pieces of shredded greens like turnip, mustard, collard , dandelion, arugula and shredded squash.

Here's how to post pics :

And yes, some females do cohabit together in a large tank with no problems when they are raised together, I've done it myself. But you do have the risk of a bite or nip at some point, esp. if they are not properly fed multiple times a day as babies or if one that seems to be female is actually a male.

Hi, yes I will post some pictures, I'm not sure of the exact branding and when I feed them I watch to make sure one does not dominate and for most time I hand feed and the give them a few to hunt to keep active. Ill remember the thing about the apples and they seem to love curly kale so I gave them that and they're eating better already! I think I have a 42w basking light and a 10% UV bulb.
Many Thanks :D

#1 don't give them baths. They don't really need baths pretty much ever and mostly is stresses them out. If they have serious impaction then a bath is warranted, but it's not something to just do because they haven't pooped in a day or two.

#2 Crickets are not good for young dragons. They are too hard for them to catch. The best foods are small dubia roaches and black soldier fly larva.

#3 The right feeding container can help too, something that the food can't escape from. This is my recommendation: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=231135

You should plan on either eventually separating them or having a large viv, like 20 square feet or more.

They are already laying on top of each other, they aren't doing that because they like each other, that's what they do to show dominance. It's a classic sign of issues, you can look this up. We're just trying to save you the problems you absolutely will have if you don't separate them, as they are already showing the behavior that is an indication is trouble...And it's not all about fighting or "becoming nasty", not at all. In fact, most issues that occur with bearded dragons living together start as very young babies showing just the behavior yours already are, and here's what's going to slowly happen to yours if you don't separate them immediately: slowly over the next few months one will become more and more dominant, while the other submissive, and the submissive one will be robbed of the best feeders, best basking spots and heat, and most of all, the submissive one will be under tremendous stress every day, all day. And then suddenly you're going to realize that one of them is thriving, normal size, healthy and happy, but the other is stunted, lethargic, and you'll think that she's getting sick...But she's not "sick" per se, she's just been under such tremendous stress her entire life that she's actually becomingly physically effected by it, and it's finally bad enough that she's showing outward signs. That's usually what happens, that is if you are lucky enough to get away with no physical aggression and missing toes and tail nips. This is the major issue that occurs in probably 90% of bearded dragons forced to live an unnatural life that totally goes against the way they live naturally in their wild environment. IT IS MOT AT ALL LIKE DOGS, LOL, please don't make that analogy as it's completely wrong. Beardies come together to mate then immediately separate for good. The mother lays her eggs and leaves for good. The babies hatch and separate immediately for good. And they all live their lives completely alone, 100% of the time, except for the very short time it takes to mate. So you're forcing them to live unnaturally, which absolutely does cause them both stress until one takes the dominant position, which has already started to happen with yours. So if you know this, why in the world are you even attempting to risk their health and possibly their lives? I mean, it's totally unnecessary to do this, it's irresponsible, and it's unfair to both of them because they do not want to be together with any other dragons, they want to live alone. It's just the way it is.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
