baby beardies & fruit flies?

I saw on a youtube video someone feeding baby bearded dragons fruit flies. Are fruit flies good feeders for just hatched baby beardies? The eggs I currently have are about to hatch mayb in a couple of weeks so I was wondering if this was a good buy or not.

I was reading a book on bearded dragons and in one of the feeding schedules in the book, they were feeding the hatchlings fruit flies. I would think it would be fine to feed the hatchlings fruit flies although they are pricey and very small.

Yes I was thinking if they were filling or not? It seems there so tiny I don't know if its sensible to feed them that or just stick with crickets.
