Baby beardie throwing up

Hey everyone! My name is Alexa and I am a proud mother of two beared dragons. I am a huge fan of this site and this is my first post.

For some background, I took in my beardie Mushu about six months ago due to her falling ill and the owner not knowing what to do (she was never given crickets and didn't even have a UVB light!) She's about a year and a half old but appeared to be six months due to malnutrition. She is doing great and I will post pictures in a bit!

Recently I got a second beardie (housed separately) and his name is Haku. He is only three or four months and I have only had him about two weeks now. The other night he vomited and after extensive research I figured it was due to eating too close to bed time and not having enough time to digest. Well today he seemed to have gotten sick again, only I cannot figure out why and I'm hoping someone will have some insight. His poops are normal, he is well hydrated, he has a great appetite (crickets, squash, baby beardie bites, kale on occasion, celery, some fruits etc.) He is very active and enjoys basking so I cannot seem to find the issue but I'm scared it will become more serious if it continues.

Here is his tank setup:
Newspaper on the bottom
Warm side 90, cool side 78-82, basking 100-108
Ditched my UVB yesterday, reptisun 10.0 bulb should arrive today
I use a probe thermometer, placed on basking rock

Sorry for the long post, any help is appreciated!

Hi Alexa.....is there any chance that he was roaming outside of the tank + gobbled a small foreign object from the floor ? Think hard if he was out.....rubber bands, coins, tiny toys, etc. are all items that beardies are known to swallow. But it's most likely that it's just a remnant from yesterday. Just give him some water, he probably won't eat for 1-2 days now. Be sure that any bugs are smaller than the space between his eyes and you already know not to feed him too late, and to let him bask for 2 hours after any meal.

We did go outside in the sun a bit yesterday but he stayed on my shoulder the entire time. Aside from that and the bath he has been in his viv so hopefully it is just whatever was left over from yesterday. It's extremely easy to become paranoid over these adorable creatures!

So you think everything is okay? I will be keeping an eye on him, but any recommendations if it happens again? Recently he has been avoiding basking, he enjoys running around a little too much and I'm scared that may be causing the vomiting issue.

The little guys do love to roam around and explore. Perhaps he ate a bit too much and got an upset stomach. I'd go easy on food for a few days and maybe offer him softer items that are relatively easy to digest along with some water like AHBD mentioned. Hopefully it was just a one off upset stomach which wouldn't be a big deal. If it continues, you may want to offer some probiotics or make further adjustments to his diet.

Any chance a sprayed / poisoned roach found it's way inside or into the tank ?

Are those fake plants in the enclosures ? I observed Peppa trying to nibble a fake plant that was attached to her grotto almost as soon as she went into the rearing tub, so the grotto came out and out came the Stanley knife and the green fake leafy things were removed , no more problem. There is a chance your's might have been nibbling the fake green plastic leafs , this could be a serious issue if they don't pass through .

Hope he's just overeaten and it's just a temporary upset tummy, I know it can be a worry as we had a similar incident with our big girl Rex and it has happened a few times in the last month or so.

There are no plants in the tank, fake or real. That's just the background. Everything has been fine so be either overate or didn't have enough time to digest from the day before. Thanks everyone for all your help!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
