Baby Beardie Scared of me?!

Hello! Im Jasper the Beardie...Recently i was bought by a human...She is really nice but shes sometimes scarey...I dont really like to eat when shes looking at me....When she tries to pick me up sometimes I run...When she opens my cage up i get scared and run around...Hi Im Jaspers owner
I really need help with her..Shes scared of me Please help!

Hi, don't worry about young Jasper being scared of you. Just keep feeding and when passible handling her when she lets you. Do you know what age she is? If she is running from you when you open the vivarium keep your door open and set you hand in with a treat on it. Is she eating ok when you are not watching her? Also when you are moving your hand towards her make sure to go slowly. It can take a lot of work but she will come round.

She eats fine when Im not around.But sometimes when she is eating and I walk up to the cage she runs back up her safe point aka her basking log.Its almost like shes attacted to the log!Hopefuly these tips will work! Also she is about to turn 2 months next week...Thank you!

2 months she is still a baby. Keep at it she will come round as she gets used to you. Just remember slow and steady wins the race.
