I can't thank you enough, I will try and separate them tomorrow, ill inform you if it is done and will see if Duncan improves, will the sounds of jaffa moving about scare him? the divider will only be temporary : ) the new tank isnt as big as the one hes in right now but im sure he will like it anyway.

Okay I have told my brother and father about Duncans situation and my dad agrees with me that jaffa could be bullying him and duncans scared. My brother is going down a trusted petshop tomorrow to get some repticarpet and juvenile soft pellets. So I should be able to move duncan into his new tank tomorrow.
I hope duncan can bear with me till then.

That's good that he will be in his new tank tomorrow, the sooner, the better. He may act a little stressed the first few days but will certainly be happy in the long run. Make sure that Duncan won't be in view of Jaffa to help him to adjust better.

Sorry that I haven't replied, they are separated now...only thing is Jaffa seems sad, he has stress marks on his belly and he seems to be running around looking for something, I think he's looking for Duncan. Duncan seems happier now that he is in his new tank and I can feed them both easier. Will Jaffa get use to his tank and without Duncan? Is there a way I can make him more comfortable?

Good job separating them. Any change at all can cause a little stress. What you could do is put a stuffed animal in each of their tanks to cuddle up with.

How are their appetites?

Their appetites are great, hungry as always ^.^ but I feed them everyday with lettuce, grapes, sometimes strawberries and other stuff. Also locusts dusted with calcium powder.
They seem happier now that they are separated but I'll put in stuffed animals to cuddle with incase they get a little lonely ;) thanks for the advice I really appreciate it

Duncan is still terrified of me, I picked him out just now and he puffed up, opened his mouth and hissed 3 times at me...he also jumped on the floor and ran for it, took me ages to try and get him he's super fast. Way faster than Jaffa.
He's so scared he's willing to jump off anywhere he is onto the floor to get away from me....

In the morning out the shirt you slept in in his tank for him to sleep on. This will help him get used to your scent. You can also handle him at night, right before he goes to bed. I would keep the handling at a minimum so you don't stress him.

I have tried the shirt thing twice, I also try not to handle him too much and had him out last night. I'll try the shirt again tonight and see how he is. He's gone a little more scared than last time, he now jumps onto the floor no matter where he is just go get away from me.

Jaffa is fine but Duncan is still acting up, he bit me a few days ago...now even if I touch him he jumps and runs away in a defensive position, he's gotten worse and I don't know what to do anymore. I thought he would be better without Jaffa around but he's still defensive, he's gotten a little bigger though so atleast he's growing.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
