Baby beardie lethargy

Hey guys, first time beardie owner here. I've got about a 2-3 month old bearded dragon, I adopted him about 4 weeks ago now. I am concerned about his lack of interest to explore/ walk around his enclosure. He is in a 40 gallon glass tank. Temps are about 75-80 on cool side and basking area is usually around 100-105. He has a reptisun 24" t5 10.0 uvb light that sits about 2/3rds of his tank. He very good about eating and his stool looks healthy. It was tested about 2 weeks ago, and is free from parasites. Humidity is a bit low at 20% on cool side and 10% on basking side. Not sure if this would be the problem, I am working on trying to raise it. Every day he just sits under his basking area all day unless he is eating, then right away back to basking. He moves up and down log a few times a day. He just went through a full body shed a few says ago. I feel He should be more active and have more energy being so young. Please help! Thank you

Your UVB is where in the tank -- the basking temps your taking w/ a digital probe thermometer?

Uvb is sitting on mesh screen over the basking area. And yes Temps are taken with probe thermometer

The mesh screen is a fine mesh like a screen door or a wide hole type? this makes a difference w/ the UVB rays

Not like a screen door. A bit wider. Not sure if I should try putting it inside the tank, I feel it would be too bright for him?

I would try getting it in the tank --- make sure the distance is 12-15 inches directly above the basking decor piece --- distance and placement is key here --- you can hang w/these things
3 M command Velcro fasteners- picture hanging wire – long plastic zip ties-- fishing line-- potted plant wire hangers-- or this stuff I use it in my tanks works great - its like a Velcro strap cut into strips wrap around the hood https://www.homedepot.com/p/GE-15-ft-Cable-Ties-Hook-and-Loop-Spool-Black-10375/304220195
Get it placed and let me know if any change in the behavior please

Hey there, his uvb has been sitting in his cage for a few days now, right over the basking area. He is still acting the same. He is still eating well, not shedding, pooping every other day. Not sure what the issue could be. His lights are on for 12 hours a day. Do they need to be on longer maybe?

Is the distance I posted? He's eating and pooping-- no his lights should be on 12 hrs off 12 hrs- doing the same? Lethargic behavior would be not doing anything! No eating eyes closed no pooping not active - is he moving around the tank at all?

Yes the uvb is 13" from the basking spot. He is not moving around the tank at all. Just sits in his basking spot unless he's eating or pooping. I can tell he is stressed, due to his belly/ chin dark marks, which are noticeable 80% of the time. maybe this is why? I have had him for 5 weeks now, relocation stress should be gone, not sure what else it would be from.

Are there any colored bulbs heat mats heat rocks in the tank? Your basking temps what are they and how are you taking them?

No other heat sources other than the basking light above. His basking Temps are usually a steady 104.5. Taken with a digital probe thermometer. Cool side ranges from 75-80 Taken with a digital thermometer stuck on back of tank.

Ok good the basking light is a bright white bulb? No off colored yellowish--

Yes it is a bright white bulb. It is a zoomed repti basking spot lamp 150w.

Just posted. Pic of him is about 30 seconds after feeding. Dark stress marks and right back to same spot.
