Baby beardie eye problem

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a baby beardie from Petsmart and they claimed that he had a retained shed on his head that was causing his left eye to not open very well. However I don't think this is the case as I've taken a damp q-tip to the spot and it hasn't improved the case much, although it does allow him to open his eye more. There also seems to be a little puffiness to his lip and what seems like an underdeveloped eyebrow. I just want to make sure this isn't something super serious as there is not a herp-vet very close nearby.

Although the eye looks off, it doesn't seem to affect him that much as he is still very active and eating 30-50 crix a day, and some veggies.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yeah his eye looks wonkey, looks like he got beaten by another reptile, his lips has a red dot, like a wound?.. cant see properly , looks like he got a fat lip too ,was he housed alone when you got him? its recommended that a tube is used not coil. Like a Reptisun tube 10 t5 I dunno if the light would do this tho....what substrate you using?

Dont think a shed would do that either looks maybe something got into his eye and is infected?

Yeah he was housed in a very small tank with 4-5 other baby beardies. He's on repti-carpet here, and was also on it at the store where I got him. I did notice that the beardies at the store climbed over each other quite a bit so he could have got a claw in the eye... that would explain the small cut/fat lip. He can see quite better after I clean up his eye, but after awhile it seems to seal up again.
