Baby Beardie Ear Issue?

I think my baby beardie has water or liquid in his right ear because he has been freaking out. It started yesterday morning when I was syringe feeding him and giving him some medicine to follow up his deworming when after giving him the medicine he starts squirming and falling over himself. I linked two videos from last night when I was holding him and one from this morning. He acts sort of drunkenly like he can't get his footing and shakes his head as if trying to get water out. Any idea what's wrong? How serious and should I take him back to the vet?

When he is not shaking his head he just sits like this with his head vertical

It could be something as simple as water in the ear or something more serious as a neurological issue. Have you seen any excess mucus around his mouth or noticed if there are popping sounds when you hold him up to your ear?
I'd give him 24 hours to improve before going to the vet. In that time, no baths and keep him extra warm at night.

There's no mucus around his mouth and I don't hear any popping sounds. It also looks like he is just starting his first shed, not sure if that's a factor or not. I will just keep an eye on him for now. Thanks for the help!

Sorry I agree with Blankenship. I think you should see a vet as quickly as possible to be safe. Waiting is not a good idea when symptoms like that are presenting.

Yeah I take him to Dr.Mertz in Weymouth, MA. One of the best "Odd Pet Vets" around here and has over 25 years of experience.

So my vet is saying that he has a respiratory infection and that when I was giving him the medicine yesterday he probably inhaled some of the liquid into his lung(s). He decided to switch him over to an injection every 5 days instead of liquid via the mouth every 2 days. Guess we'll see what happens.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
