Hello, I have two baby beardies. Roughly about the same age 3/5 months. My one beardie (Ajax) is doing really good.shes my newest addition. We have had her a little over a month now. My other beardie (James) he's usually a little more on the chunky side compared to Ajax. But he has fallen into this state where all he does is sleep I have started feeding him through a syringe because he's very skinny now. I had a beardie before him named Lafanzo. And he got really sick and didn't eat. We took him to a vet and they didn't really say much. They gave him a shot of fluids and gave me some advice. He unfortunately passed away. Due to "yellow fungus" in which the vet didn't seem to notice. (UGH). I'm very concerned for James. I didn't see him eat a single cricket today. Also, I realized one of his back toes looks almost black and shriveled. The whole foot looks kinda curled. I've done some research but I'm still very concerned. Please help!!

It's not a good sign that he is losing weight. Does the black area around his foot appear to be spreading? If it's infected and that is spreading it could cause serious problems if it isn't treated properly. If a vet missed a major yellow fungus infection then I would find another experienced reptile vet if you can. Can you post photos? You can upload them here https://www.beardeddragon.org/useruploads/ and post them to your thread using the XIMG button.

It won't let me post. It looks like they're just might've been something on it. He's still very sickly and I'm very concerned.

Hello,

So his toe is ok, was it food on his toe then or dirt?
Be sure to keep him warm, around 80, or so to help his immune system.
If he isn't eating, you can try to get some chicken or turkey baby food mixed with squash or sweet potato baby food to give to him using a plastic dropper or syringe.
I would try to find a vet if he is extremely ill & losing weight. They can do a fecal on him to see if he has worms or parasites making him sick or an enlarged liver.
Are they housed together?
Let us know how he is doing.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
