Baby Beardie afraid of worms

I got a baby Beardie about a week ago. Mozie is about 6 inches long and was told about 2 months old. I was told early on it wasn't good for them to eat just Super Worms. Went to a place specializing in reptile care over the weekend and got butter worms, tomato worms and small crickets. He/She loves the crickets but is terrified of the bigger worms other than the very small Super worms we were giving originally. I put acceptable fruits and veggies in every day but still no interest. Any other ideas anyone?

Super worms as a staple should not be fed as a staple - offering worms as a lure or treat is good -your baby needs a staple feeder such as dubias crickets silk worms or BSFL- my recommendation is put him on dubias and BSFL- you can order BSFL from here www.symtonbsf.com - they are small so order large and dont dust them --- they are full of calcium-- dubias can be ordered from here www.dubiaroaches.com they have other good worms for your dragon -- you are not the first person that has said their dragons are afraid of worms -- you need to feed that salad first in the morning- and your gonna haft to use the BSFL to entice her to the bowl to get her to eat her salad - you want her eating that salad or at least some --- it seems if they dont start on salad earlier like when babies you play hell getting them to eat it when they are adults-- use those worms sparingly 1-3 or they will get addicted to them - add the BSFL or butter worms on top of the salad and let her see you do this it will get her to the bowl then like an hr or so later take a little of the salad out and add your staple feeder - I use the dubias they are easier to work w/ than the crickets - so your gonna need a bowl the worms / insects cant get out of -- the BSFL you can use as many as you want - and you can use the small super worms to get her to the salad too - I dont know what a tomato worm is -- try that and see if that doesnt help w/ the salad issue

Thank you so much Karrie. What great advice. I will give the BSFL a try but honestly I don't think I can do the roaches. I get creeped out just thinking about it. The place we went over the weekend explained that they are completely different than the roaches that freak me out and I guess as a last resort I would think about it but I wouldn't sleep.....lol. I like your idea of enticing them to the salad with the worms....will give that a try as well. Thanks again.

I understand about the roaches as well --- I hated the thought of them but after my vet recommended them I tried them and found out I like them way better than crickets - they are nothing like the roaches your thinking of --- I wouldnt go back to crickets now if you paid me too - they are way easier to keep they dont jump they dont stink and they dont chirp - and they last longer - I keep them in a 10 gallon aquarium feed them dubia food and carrots and apples sweet potato---

Huh.....interesting. I may become a convert too.....I'll let you know. I guess the tomato worms are also called horn worms. They are blue and fat....and really fast. One chased Mozie around his tank poor little thing. :D

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
