I'm confused, have you had your dragon a year or a month. and have you been giving him baths? most dragons do not DRINK with their mouth.. they take water in through their vent (where they poop from) and though their skin. This should be done at least every other day when they are so small. Just set them in water (not too hot! just a bit over luke warm is fine!) up to their shoulders. I ask because you say his eyes are crusting.. this could be due to severe dehydration? Misting really does not help. It just adds to the humidity in the tank, which should be VERY VERY low. First thing i'd do is give your baby a bath! he may indeed drink when given a bath, but another thing... if you can get your baby to a vet.. it sounds like maybe parasites. crickets tend to carry them, i found out.

Also get rid of the coil uvb asap! They are bad for their eyes. You need a reptisun 10.0 TUBE. I agree with previous he or she needs a bath or use dropper with water and drip on the nose he will lick the water up or mine the just put their mouths on the end of the dropper and drink. I hope he/she gets better. Also do not feed meal worms or canned crickets they both have no nutritional value and kale binds calcium. In stead feed mustard greens, collard, evdive and no lettuce. If you want here is a site with what to feed him beautifuldragons.com. Good luck!

Live food is best, Dubai roaches, X-small horn worms, butter worms, Phoenix worms, are all good choices. I personally would go with Phoenix worms at this point, they are a great balanced nutrition, that does not take much effort too keep, and last for a long time, and do not get to big, no real smell, just all around a good choice. Here is where to order them from http://www.phoenixworm.com/ Do please give your little dragon baths at least every other day if not every day, and see what improvement you get. Between now, and when you get your Phoenix worms in, go to the store and get baby food chicken, squash, turkey, and pedialyte. Ask the pharmacist for a dosing syringe and feed your dragon those things along with live crickets, if you can get them small enough. With your dragon being so small it is very important that the crickets be tiny, so unless you can get crickets locally that are as small around as a pin head (super small) then just go with the baby food till you get the phoenix worms in.

brand of the baby food doesn't really matter, just you need the little baby food, no chuncks, just what can go in the syringe applicator and of the flavors above is going to be the best protein and vitamin ration, etc. giving him baths, you should see a big improvement on his appitite, etc. I personally have baby roaches for my baby and the 4 eggs that should be hatching this next 8 days or so (i hope). I am also buying some of those phoenix worms, my adults liked them when I bought them before. they do come in real small size and have a great calcium ration in them.

Keep us updated as the days go by. every suggestions above is all good in my opinion.

Hello,

How is your baby doing?
The compact/coil bulbs are harmful but they don't emit the proper UVB wavelength.
Do you use a digital probe or temp gun to measure the temperatures?
He is a little cutie pie & very tiny indeed!
How often do you give calcium? He will need it once daily, for 5 days for his age. What feeders do you give?
Since he is not eating right now, you can get some chicken or turkey baby food & use a plastic dropper or syringe to feed it to him by dripping it onto the end of his nose.
You can get some sterile saline solution for his eyes, to wash them out daily to help him out.
Let us know how he is doing.

I switch the UVB to a compact one for now, i dont seem to be ablet of ind any other UVB
I use those temperature stickers that sticks tot he side of the terrarium

I just bought Squash and Chicken&chickbroth baby food. I began to feed the little one some chicken baby food and he instantly begins to eat it :)

im so glad that he is eating now.
But how can i mix the calcium with the baby food?

How long till the baby food goes bad?

Now i give him a bath and he drink the water while hes in the bath

You can order a reptisun 10.0 tube @ pet mountain.com. You can then get a under cabinate light fixture @ Walmart for 10 dollars. Then you mount it in the tank with command hooks and he needs to be 6 to 10 inches away from it. And turn off the uvb until the new light comes in he can go a few days without the uvb. If its nice where you live you can take him outside for natural sun as long as its 70 or so outside.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
