I recently acquired my second bearded dragon since my first has brought me so much joy. I have been keeping him in my 35gallon breeder 75F cool side 104-110 basking 85-90 on hot side reptisun 10 running 3/4 length. I think a bout of cold weather and his location may have given him an RI. I am boosting his temps and will place a spare CHE to try and hold his tank at 80F overnight. The soonest i can get him to my herp vet is the 20th of april. Aside from boosting his temps is there anything I can do to raise his chances? He's been popping and seems to be trying to swallow some mucus. He is very small only a few grams and is about 5" head to tail, and that's being generous.
His appetite is about 3-5 small dubias per feeding 2 times day never less than 2 hours before lights out. multi vitamin dusted 2x a week and calcium every other time. he ate greens (escarole turnip and mustard) from my hand today.
I assume these are not infectious, he is not near my other dragon as he is new and in quarantine, but if they are, I will switch to full on latex gloves and the whole 9 when handling him and his cage. All advice is appreciated
