About a week ago, my husband and I got a Beardie from a local petshop (not the best place, but I cant order online either due to living in an apartment and not allowed to recieve packages.) The kid at the pet store believed he was around 6 months, but aparently didnt know much since he is only 6 inches or so. Which I think puts him at 2-3 months.
Anyways he was eating small amounts this last week. Only like 15 crickets a day and about 6 or 7 small pieces of kale. He has been pooping regularly and seems to have gotten a little longer since we got him. Today I I turned on his lights (150w heating bulb and 10.0 uvb and 40 gallon breeder) and kept them on for about an hour and a half. I gave him 9 crickets, and let him do his thing in his feeding tank. Came back and he had eaten no crickets. I tried kale and he wouldnt touch it. I would try to buy some wax worms but there are no sellers in my area. He seems to not be lethargic or anything. Basking for about 5 or 6 hours. He almost never goes into his cool spot (if that matters at all)
Basically is this normal? I am gonna try again in about 3 or 4 hours when I go on break for work.
