The baby beardie I have is about 6 months old, 8 inches long

I noticed the other day that his tail is really skinny and he seemed less interested in crickets

His stomach is still full looking and there are a couple poops in the tank but they don't seem to be as big as they were before? With a decent amount of liquid? His hip bones are showing a bit

I stopped giving him meal worms and I've been giving him baby crickets and the occasional hornworm but he's not interested in them like at all? He's really picky and sometimes only eats mealworms because that's what they have him st the pet store

I have him 2 baths the last two weeks to help him poo but I don't know if they're okay to be an everyday thing? At what point should he go to the vet?

Tank is 80 hot side 100 basking and around 60-70 cool side

It sounds like he may be sick. Can you post some photos of him? You can upload photos here https://www.beardeddragon.org/useruploads/ and post them to your thread using the XIMG button.

The temperature range doesn't sound quite right. What are you using to measure the temps? It's important to use an accurate thermometer.

What do you have in place for UVB lighting? How far is it from his basking area?

UVB strip bulb on top of tank

I only have one thermometer, it's right under his basking spot, so I kinda guessed with the other ones based off tank size and room temp

I'm assuming it's an impaction based on my research, so I'm gonna spend the week bathing him and giving him vegetable oil daily and see if he looks any better, just hoping for advice on anything else I could do for him

He seems pretty active, anytime I take him out he's running around and being Curious? No stress spots or anything on him

Pictures are kinda bad because lighting, the stress marks are from me just bathing and giving him oil 5 mins ago, but they do flare up randomly during the day since he's been sick

It's a good sign that he is active and curious. It's a good idea to offer him some extra water and a couple drops of oil to help move things along. If he's well hydrated it should help. He looks to be in decent shape based on those photos so that's encouraging as well.

Do you know if your UVB light is a T8 or a T5? A T8 should be 6-8'' above the basking spot and a T5 should be about 12-14'' above the basking spot for best output.

I suggest having a digital thermometer with a probe for the basking site and one for the cool end (or two digitals with 1 probe each. An IR temp gun like this will work well too https://www.amazon.com/Nubee-Temperature-Non-contact-Infrared-Thermometer/dp/B00CVHIJDK You want to have the basking site between about 100-110 with a gradient down to about 75-80 on the cool side during the day.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
