Baby bearded dragon fell

Hi guys, I would like to hear some of your dragon's fall or drop or any similar accident, because yesterday my baby dragon jumped and fell, and I think it was a pretty hard fall, but it seems to be all right? He kept running and jumping after that incident......so what's going on, can he be hurting but not showing? Or they are just that hardy??? Can I hear some stories for ur dragons falls and what happened? Please and thank you!!

They are just hardy, don't be too worried. Mine have sailed off benches heaps of times and never had an issue (Pepper is particularly prone to it, and he's 4 and a half years old now so...)

Boy do I have a story, my first time taking Widge outside almost ended up in disaster!

My house has a walkout basement, so the first story back deck is actually 2 stories from the ground. Back in April I had him sitting on a table out on that deck and went inside to get something to drink. I walked back out and he freaked out, lept off the table over to the railing, paused for a second, and jumped off the ledge. I ran over to the railing just in time to see him land 12+feet down into a bush. At this point all that was going through my mind was "sssssssshhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" as I ran down the stairs. I approached the bush and he shot off under another one, dangerously close to the neighbor's fence where their two dogs were watching. At this point my main worry was keeping Widge from running toward them. They're friendly dogs but who knows what they may have done! I crouched and kinda inched my way under the bush and managed to grab Widge by his torso. Made him a leash after that.

He's completely unharmed!

I wouldn't give it another thought one time bingo tried to skydive off of the back of the couch he hit the floor hard and it knocked him out but he's fine that was three months ago good luck

YUP! My little man thinks he can fly sometimes too Haha! I wouldn't worry if he's active and not showing signs of discomfort.

my bearded dragon once leapt out of my hands and landed on the floor, which was about a 4ft drop. she was totally fine.

My only jumping story was when I first got Zy. I was laying on the floor and she jumped AT my face... :lol: Neither one has tried to do a dare devil jump...yet.

My Seze is an explorer and will rarely keep still when taken out of her viv. Just 2 weeks ago she jumped and dropped almost 5 feet to the hard tile floor. She's completely fine. It's funny how they truly think they can fly!

We've only had Reaper for a week of course we waited several days before getting him out so that he would have time to get used to us before we started handling him a lot. on day 3 after he had breakfast and basked for around 30 min the kids and I got him out. He loved it he ran all over us and the bed, after about 30 min we put him back (I'm a newbie beardie mom) after several hours we got him out again for a little while again same thing he loved it "Begged" to come back out after we put him away. I texted my hubby some pix and told him that Reaper loved being handled and went to work, about 4hrs later I get a frantic phone call at work. My hubby had taken him out a little while after feeding him and was getting acquainted with him, he was crawling up Dave's shirt and decided that the floor was were he wanted to be and jumped off. my poor hubby was frantic he was so worried that he'd hurt Reaper. I told him that if he was still running around that he was fine and did not need to go to the vet after a 15 minute debate he was finally convinced but he's made it a rule that you have to be sitting down to hold Reaper LOL. it's hilarious we sit on opposite sides of the bed and let him run between us and climb up us but Dave jumps up and blocks him when he gets within a foot of the edge. :lol:

About a week after I got Barbossa he decided he wanted to jump from my hand, to the top of his tank and from there to the top of the mini-fridge that is about 5 feet away from his tank. Well he cleared a good 3 feet of that 5 and then fell the 4 feet to the ground. Once he landed he ran at the fridge and tried climbing it. I picked him up and put him on top of it so he could see there was nothing of interest there. He walked around it for about a minute and then decided it was time to jump back to his tank. Once again he failed, landed on the ground, and then just tried climibing the leg of the table his tank is on.

Some times I really think my beardie is 'special'.
