Baby bearded dragon closing eyes

Hey everyone I saw a similar topic but it didn't help me so i'm starting a new topic. I've had my baby bearded dragon for about a week now and he constantly closes his eyes for a few seconds and opens them again. I have him in a 20 gallon tall tank, his basking temps are between 100-110, his cool side is around 85. I was using a reptiglo 10.0 for a few days but then I returned it after I read about how it's bad for his eyes. I've been using a repti-sun 10.0 that's mounted inside his tank it's about 6-8 inches from his basking spot centered in the middle of the tank. I see no visual signs of eye problems. He's eating well, shedding, and seems to be very active. The only thing I notice is that he closes his eyes alot. Is this a normal thing for them to do?

Is he closing both eyes at the same time or just one eye? Sometimes they'll close one eye to focus on something with the other.
As long as he isn't keeping them closed for long periods of time, and there's no sign of crusting or discharge, there's probably nothing to worry about

He closes both very often and keeps them closed for about 3-6 seconds, but he doesn't really seem irritated so it's hard to tell.
