I tried taking the back legs off of a cricket and got the 1 to eat at least the legs. He closed his eyes when I put the rest of the cricket in front of him. What kind of baby food do I get, is there any certain vegetable? Couple other questions, should I still be keeping the veggies in there if they are doing nothing besides throwing them around the cage? What kind of light should I have for them at night to keep it in the 80's but still be dark for them? Is there a certain type of vitamin I can use for them and the mom?

How many crickets are you putting in front of them at a time? Sometimes only offering a couple at a time helps with the fear factor.
Freezing them for a second helps a lot. I would say a stage one chicken baby food mixed with a stage one butternut squash you can add a sprinkle of calcium to the baby food too. You could try dabbing it on their nose hopefully they will lick it off on their own. If not then use a syringe or medicine dropper and gently rub the lips at the sides of their mouths this usually causes them to open their mouths and lick.

Yes it's best to continue offering the veggies until they come around and start eating them. Have you tried offering some of the greens by hand so they can get the taste?

Sorry I jumped right over your questions....

You don't want to use a light with beardies for night time heat. It actually can interrupt them from getting proper sleep which in return compromises their immune system. I would suggest a Ceramic Heat Emitter which only puts out heat no light.

I'm a firm believer in the Repcal brand supplements. If you use a Mercury Vapor Bulb use the Calcium without D3 otherwise with D3. This should be given one feeding a day 5 days a week and the Multi/Herptitive one feeding 2 days a week.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
